Through integrated healing, andby identifying and resolving past trauma, Michele has turned her own health and personal wellness around, and now helps others do the same as an Integrated Healing Practitioner. The modalities that worked for her can work for you too! After working 25+ years in corporate sales and marketing, Michele found herself at a point where she felt "stuck" and unable to move forward, and was suffering from numerous physical ailments. In addition to a blood clot, retinal tears, and fibrocystic breast disease, Michele struggled with migraine headaches, severe TMJ (that caused broken teeth) and joint pain, with bloodwork that indicated an autoimmune disorder. Numerous prescriptions were filled to help manage the lengthy list of symptoms, which led to more prescriptions. At the advice of a Osteopathic physician, Michele sought to address her WHOLE self, including past trauma, in order to find real healing. In addition to talk therapy, Michele sought a combination of proven integrated wellness modalities, which provided a solid pathway to healing in mind, body and spirit. As a result, Michele's health has improved dramatically, with no physical symptoms or prescriptions for over 5 years. Due to her own success, Michele felt called to help others, and returned to school to study the effects of emotional trauma on the physical body, as well as a list of integrated wellness modalities. Since starting her training on a full-time basis in 2016, Michele has earned the Holy Fire Reiki Master Certification at Ursuline College, with Sister Ann Winters. At the suggestion of Sister Ann, she went on to earn her Certification as a Trauma Integration Practitioner. Additional certifications were earned in Crisis Counseling, E.F.T, Star Behavioral Therapy for PTSD through Level II, Applied Kinesiology, Aromatherapy, Mindfulness, Creative Visualization, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Eden Energy Medicine, Reflexology, Acupressure, Healing Through the Chakras and Meditation. In addition, Michele trained with a Shahman in both qigong and direct energy healing techniques. Michele has been a team member at PALS for Healing, a non-profit trauma therapy group since 2018, and a member of Western Cuyahoga County Schools Crisis Counseling Team since 2019. She has instructed many programs at area schools, libraries and community centers on coping skills/integrated wellness. In addition, she was a Healing Arts Volunteer at the Gathering Place, working with cancer patients and their families. Michele works with clients of all ages. For your convenience, sessions can be brought to you, or you may schedule an appointment in the healing center.
