The M-Powered path and all M-Powered programs are owned and written by michele slaght. IN ADDITION TO EARNING A B.A. FROM K.S.U., MICHELE continued her education at Ursuline University and various other institutions, to earn a list of certifications. Michele's certifications include TRAUMA-IMFORMED YOGA teacher (CYT200, RYT200), CERTIFIED CHILDREN'S YOGA INSTRUCTOR, CERTIFIED TRAUMA INTEGRATION PRACTITIONER, (C.T.I.P.) CRISIS COUNSELOR IN AREA SCHOOLS in the event of a death, Emotional freedom technique facilitator, flash technique practitioner, CERTIFIED MINDFULNESS INSTRUCTOR, CERTIFIED MEDITATION WRITER, CERTIFIED SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING (SEL) fACILITATOR, and experienced art therapy and equine therapy facilitator. since 2018, Michele has worked for a non-profit trauma therapy agengy that helps clients to overcome emotional trauma. her assignments have included writing, developing and leading long-term afterschool programs and summer camps for children ages 3-18 who have experienced homelessness, an incarcerated or addicted parent, loss of an immediate family member, extreme life changes and poverty. in addition to children's programs, michele has also facilitated group programs for adults who have experienced trauma, grief or profound loss.
through her work in empowering trauma clients both young and old to overcome life-altering circumstances, michele realized that everyone experiences trauma, and
the M-Powered path was founded.
